The Large Print Collection
The Large Print collection consists of popular fiction and non-fiction titles.
These books may be borrowed with a valid library card at any branch of The
New York Public Library (NYPL) which has branches in Manhattan, the Bronx,
and Staten Island. They may be borrowed for three weeks and may be renewed
for another three weeks if there are no reserves on them.
Large print books may be returned to any NYPL branch. Reserves may be placed
on any large print title by using NYPL's catalog online
at any branch, from home, or anywhere else with a Web connection.
Patrons may be registered for both National Library Service cassettes and
NYPL service for large print.
Homebound patrons in Manhattan, the Bronx, or Staten Island who would like
large print books may register for NYPL's Books By Mail program. Call (212)
621-0564 to request an application. Residents of Queens may get books mailed
through Queens Borough Public Library's Mail-A-Book Service. For more information,
