Thanksgiving

The library will be closed Thursday, November 26 for Thanksgiving. You may still leave messages on the library's voicemail, 212-206-5400 and 212-206-5425.

Feminine Shorts

On Thursday, November 19th, at 4:00 p.m., narrators from the library's Audio Book Studio will read "Paul's Case," a short story by Willa Cather. The program will take place in the first floor community room.

Columbus Day

The library and all branches of The New York Public Library will be closed on Monday, October 12th in observance of Columbus Day. You may still leave VoiceMail messages and staff will respond as soon as possible after the holiday. Be sure to speak clearly and give your name and phone number.

A demonstration on how to use the library's new Standard and Advanced Digital Talking Book Machines.

BARD Download Workshop, Saturday, November 7 at 2:00 p.m.
Patrons with an internet connection and a digital Talking Book Machine will be shown how to download Talking Books from the National Library Service's Braille and Audio Reading Download website.
