Music Madness at the Library
Once again, the Andrew Heiskell Library presents a summer concert series on Saturdays during July and August.
Saturday, July 15, 2:00 p.m.
Grace Garland and The G-Spot Band
Song stylist Grace Garland and The G-Spot Band featuring Andrei Ryabov on guitar, and Gaku Takinashi on bass, will perform jazz standards and blues, as well as selections from her debut CD Lovers Never Lie (In Bed).
Saturday, July 22, 2:00 p.m.
Neal Haiduck
Pianist and vocalist Dave Heckendorn will accompany Neal Haiduck, a modern jazz clarinet player, with Tom Hubbard on bass. The group will play some of David’s original tunes along with jazz and popular blues standards. (Co-sponsored by the Music Performance Trust Fund of the Associated Musicians of Greater New York.)
Admission is free for all concerts and seating is limited.
